Hi, I’m Evelyn Melendez!

As a determined first-generation graduate and graphic designer in the Central Valley, I bloom in the sight of learning and opportunities. I’m a catalyst to voicing and creating effective, dynamic, and aesthetically beautiful designs with the help of my experiences. My passion for design and Latina roots strives with my artistic visions with technical expertise to remind us that art isn’t just about what we create, but about what it makes us feel.

    Utilizing set branding to create improved and cohesive designs for company assets, such as proposals and presentations for future engineering opportunities for the team. Partaking in the marketing team includes creating social media posts, calendars, take part of event hosted by counties in the Central Valley to continue CCME, Inc.’s outreach in the Valley.

    Developed a wide range of design solutions for Central Valley clients across diverse industries tailoring each project to meet specific brand and business objectives.

  • Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager(Sept 2024-Dec 2024)

    Promoted free dance lessons to share Latino culture, managed social media. event planning, and created promotional materials to engage the Fresno State and dance community.

  • Graphic Design Intern (Jun 2024-Aug 2024)

    Collaborated with a team to design and promote the State of the Arts branding across various media, while supporting public outreach and communication for projects like ArtHop, grants, and murals.

  • Graphic Designer (Dec 2023-Sept 2024)

    Translated requirements into polished designs, managed projects from concept to completion, and created assets and materials to support program and event execution in the Kremen School of Education and Human Development at Fresno State.

  • Edward O. Lund Foundation Scholarship Recipient

    Designed to educate undergraduate and graduate students of art and design through study abroad exposure from London.
